It will all be explained as we go, so no prep needed --- but if you like to know what's coming, here's the plan:
On February 18th, arrive up to 10 minutes early to enjoy a slide-show of Patty Piotrowski's art and a chance to do some vocal improvising (off-mic) on top of the theme music.
The hour is 1 p.m. Eastern, so 10 a.m. Pacific, 6 p.m. UK -- please check that you've got your own time zone sorted!
We hope as many of you as are comfortable will have your video on, so we get to see lots of faces!
We'll start promptly, introducing you to the people who are creating A Breath of Song, and reading out names in the gallery. Because we'll be recording, we won't allow people in after we start recording at approximately 10 minutes in.
We'll record the episode.... what will the song be??? I'm not telling -- but it is exactly the same one that was planned for #91 long before we ever dreamed of reaching 25,000 downloads!
You will be invited to unmute to give an exuberant, chaotic greeting to all the singers and listeners, and then unmute again toward the end for a vigorous "Yay, Us!!!"
After the episode is recorded, we'll open space for you to share your story of how A Breath of Song has affected your life, either in the chat or unmuted. Know that these stories will be recorded and may be used in the future to share A Breath of Song further through videos or social media shares.
You may choose to leave at any time, of course. We expect the episode recording to be finished by 1/2 past the hour; the sharing time is unpredictable and more of a "ritual time" -- that is, we'll go until we feel complete.
